Orchid Villas Description
A traditional Bali home away from homeAn intimate and completely private villa strategically located in Seminyak's up and coming neighborhood, the Oberoi area. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants, Orchid is a stones throw away from the famous Sarong, Living Room and Hu U restaurants. A superb location among newly opening shops and restaurants, but far enough off the main road to still maintain a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. A 10 minute ride away from the trendy Seminyak area and likewise the Oberoi beach. In the other direction Umalas famous stables and the beautiful Tanah Lot temple.
Close to the beach, shops and Oberoi's famous restaurant area, we are also only a 10 minute ride away from Seminyak's night life and shopping. Orchid is also off the main road enough to enjoy real peace and quiet, but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants.
Style
There are 2 villas side by side: Orchid One Bedroom and Orchid Two Bedroom. Each villa is completely enclosed and privacy ensured by the surrounding walls. Upon entering through the Balinese 'Angkul Angkul' gate, you will be impressed by the natural, simple and fresh feeling of an open living area amid lush gardens. The high pitched ceiling made from nature amply covers the living and dining areas in a way that emphasizes Orchid's traditional design. The stone lined plunge pools in each villa are 1.5m deep and are big enough to refresh and relax without being too big. Balinese statues and art compliment each villa and help to create that traditional Bali style and atmosphere.
Villa Orchid Accommodation
There are two villas: Orchid One Bedroom and Orchid Two Bedrooms. Each villa is secluded, walled around, and private. Upon entering the Balinese 'Angkul Angkul' gate, we will arrive at the Living Area. The first impression is a fresh feeling on a simple living. Set of sofa and set of dining table is covered by a round high roof. It gives a strong feeling of tropical living.Orchid One Bedroom
This villa has an open style living area under a natural beautifully thatched high pitched ceiling in the traditional Bali style. The sofa / coffee table combo are complimented with a dining table set located within the fully equipped kitchenette and under a high variable speed ceiling fan. A gas range, microwave, fridge, hot/cold water dispenser, toaster, blender, rice cooker, cooking utensils, cutlery, etc. will allow you to cook away to your hearts content... or ask us to cook for you!
The living area is framed on one side by the main bedroom and by a small office (or child's "half-bedroom") on the other.
In the garden area, a natural stone lined 1.5m deep plunge pool, will keep you cool and relaxed.
The bedroom features a king size bed, a large wardrobe, a vanity area, plenty of drawers, ceiling fan, air-conditioner, 30" satellite TV, a DVD player and a relax chair. Fall asleep gazing at the amazing and beautiful traditional thatched Bali-style ceiling... or walk right out the sliding bedroom doors and two steps into the plunge pool!
The private en-suite bathroom provides a natural feel with walk tiles set amid river stones to compliment the large vanity area complete with wash basin. A bathtub and an outdoor "rain" shower top off the bright, natural and open ambiance.
Orchid Two Bedrooms
This larger villa follows the same traditional and natural style as Orchid One. The living area here is flanked by full bedrooms oneach side and also includes a sofa/coffee table combo with a dining table set under a high variable speed ceiling fan.
The full kitchenette allows for self cooking nearly any menu... or allowing us to do it for you! A gas range. microwave, fridge, hot/cold water dispenser, toaster, blender, rice cooker, cooking utensils, cutlery, etc. are all included.
The living area, with it's high pitched beautiful thatched ceiling, is fronted by a 1.5m deep mango-shaped plunge pool, set amid the lush garden of lawn, trees, flowers and plants. Lounge chairs are set out for sunning and relaxing in between dips in the pool.
Each of the two bedrooms feature a king size bed, a large wardrobe, a vanity area, plenty of drawers, a study desk and chair, ceiling fan, air-conditioner, 30" satellite TV, a DVD player and a relax chair. Fall asleep gazing at the amazing and beautiful traditional thatched Bali-style ceilings.

With connected, but separate, one bedroom and two bedroom villas, it can be rented individually or together depending on the number in your party (or your desire).
Staff
Villa is served by a house maid and a full-time 24 hour security guard stays in the staff quarters outside the gate. The staff will perform daily cleaning of the rooms, garden, pool and kitchen. An on-call cook is also available for meal preparation with advance notice. A small charge will be added for each meal to cover any extra food costs and cook's time.
